James Fuller
Home and Garden Ironwork started from humble beginnings as “Hyloc Engineering” where James and business partner Stewart produced a wide variety of metal work, from fire escapes to iron gates and railings and some garden furniture. The garden furniture business grew and so the business was re-named and now focuses solely on the design and production of high quality home and garden furniture. Stewart retired in 2013 but James continues to run the business.
The business has really taken off with benches appearing in award winning Chelsea Flower Show gardens and featuring in the national press.
Without losing the family business roots, Home and Garden Ironwork has grown to be one of the UKs leading designers and producers of iron furniture. Nothing is mass produced but every care is taken to craft individual items to the highest standards with a finesse that shows each piece is special. James’ furniture can be found in National Trust gardens up and down the country and at the Royal Horticultural Society gardens in Wisley.
James makes all the furniture himself with a little help from family members, because of this you can be sure of excellent customer service and attention to detail to make sure your whole experience is a positive one.
Bespoke items and restoration
Sometimes we get to take on special projects and bespoke items. In the gallery you can see some of the things we’ve produced over the years, and here is a video of a huge bench built for RHS Wisley.
If you have work like this please do get in touch on the contact page.
